We’ve been her many times and will continue to come here often. Very clean restaurant. Friendly attentive staff with exceptional service. Sushi is very fresh and consistent quality. Generous portions of fish. The music always playing is not boring : )
This place is a great hidden gem in town! We went for dinner and had a fantastic meal - the food was great and the staff was super friendly. Since we’re having to go to Manchester, Glastonbury or West Hartford often to eat out it’s always nice when you find places close to home.
Best option for an Asian dining experience in the area, if you're ever in the area you don't have to head over to Vernon or Manchester!
This place is a gem! Great cocktails: Mai Tai and Long Island Ice Tea made to perfection. The sushi was amazing. The Thai menu is limited but it was savory and full of flavor. We found this place exploring the area around. We are not locals but will return to this restaurant at any chance. And the atmosphere? Great music in the background that invites you to explore pop Asian artists.

I just ate takeout and it was REALLY good! Chicken with steamed veggies with garlic sauce on the side. Spicy beef and some sushi. Food was on time, hot and very tasty. Thank you Oyama!
One of the most underrated restaurants around the UConn area. While it is 10/15 minutes off campus, this spot is a hidden gem. Fairly priced sushi and hibachi. Fantastic service. Everyone is welcoming, friendly, and checks in regularly on your table. Sometimes empty and I’m not sure why- anyone who enjoys sushi or Thai cuisine should try Oyama at least once! P.S. the specialty rolls are delicious. The YUMMY roll is the best sushi I’ve had. Their tempura is top tier as well. Thank you!!!
